Here is another recycling tip for cot sheets and doona covers. I converted Daniël's cot doona covers into a double bed doona cover to use on his big boy bed (single bed) I used the sheets to make pillow cases and added a few embellishment to bring it all together. Now just to figure out what to do with the "doughnut" Any ideas?

My Best Friend Breastfeeding Pillow
This breastfeeding pillow really lived up to its name, it was really my best friend. My father in law bought me one seeing how I struggled getting the right position to feed my newborn. By the time I had my perfect position, baby was so hungry feeding turned into a night mare. This breastfeeding pillow clips around your waist for lumber support and acts as a “table” that you place baby on to bring them higher up for easy feeding. I found this breastfeeding pillow very helpful. Being on the short side this breastfeeding pillow helped me to get baby at the right height from my lap to the breast. Before I had this breastfeeding pillow I had 2 sets of yellow pages under my feet a pillow behind my back in order to get the perfect position. I would highly recommend this breastfeeding pillow for every new mum it makes breastfeeding so mush easier.
Good Nursing Bras
I bought three good nursing bras and they were worth every penny. One to wear, one for wash and one spare. Good nursing bras is essential to prevent breast muscles and tissue to over stretch. After all they have to accommodate a fair amount of "Super M" (Super Milk). I personally prefer a bra that provides definition between my assets as appose to one continual boob with two nipples. The bra on the on the right always gave me that impression, but there are mums that swears by them. For me they were great to sleep in and for days when I was really felt engorged. I found the sexy ones nice to look at but they hardly did their job. There were no support especially when your are on the larger size when pregnant and breastfeeding. I wanted a bra that kept my assets in good position and gave it good shape instead of extra belly higher up on my body. This is an essential buy for all expecting mothers and if you a buy a good pair they will last of a second time around.

I used The Bath Bubble with my second and it really made bath time much easier when bathing a toddler and a newborn together. Thinking back being a first time mummy bath time was a terrifying time alone. I always waited for my hubby to come home before I would bath my little one to afraid that I would drown him. This was one of the activities I always felt I needed an extra set of hands. Although this is my product I make and sell this is by far my best investment for as a first time parent or a mum with a toddler.

No. 4 Philips Avent Room & Bath Thermometer.
We were visiting friends, and getting the kids reading for bath time. My friend was busy running the bath water for the kids. I felt the water and thought to myself, that water feels a bit on the warm side. I asked if she had a bath thermometer. She replied that she tests the water with her hand and it felt ok. I asked her if I could just measure the temperature of the water. The temperature measured way over 40 degrees and the recommended temperature was 37 degrees. It really made me think how easy it was to misjudge the temperature of water I'll never go anywhere without my trusted thermometer.
